This exhibition gives a unique opportunity to see a part of a unique private art collection of Shmuel Tatz, who was born in Alytus. For the first time in Lithuania, two world-famous coryphaei of the 20th century art, the main figures of the second painters' generation of the famous Paris school (L'Ecole de Paris)/. They symbolized new shifts in modernist painting.
The exhibition features works of Chaïm Soutine (1893-1943) and Amedeo Modigliani (1884- 1920). The works of both painters are kept in the largest world museums and most solid private collections.
Our task was to create a recognizable visual identity for the exhibition that would suit the mystical spirit of paintings.
